This policy explains what information Comodo RealEstate collects and how it is used. It applies to account holders (agents, agencies, sellers, developers, and property managers) and to visitors of published property pages.

Information we collect

Account information you provide at signup (name, email, account type), property listing details you enter, and enquiry information submitted by visitors through a property page or profile contact form.

How we use information

• To operate your account and publish your listing pages
• To deliver enquiries to the correct agent or seller
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, new enquiries)
• To measure basic, privacy-conscious page analytics (views, device type, referrer)

Service providers and overseas processing

We use contracted infrastructure, storage, email, payment, monitoring, and authentication providers to operate Comodo RealEstate. Some providers may process information outside New Zealand. We disclose only what is needed to provide the service and require appropriate privacy and security protections from our providers.

Public information

Contact details you choose to make public (phone, email, address visibility) are displayed on your public profile and listing pages. You control this from your Profile settings at any time.

Data retention and deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support. Some information may be retained where required for legal or security purposes.

Access and correction

You may ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you or request that inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information be corrected. Send requests to privacy@comodorealestate.com. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.

Security and privacy incidents

We use access controls, encrypted connections, account verification, optional multi-factor authentication, audit records, and monitored infrastructure to protect information. If a privacy breach is notifiable under New Zealand law, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required.
